Today Josephine participated in a Sleeping Beauty Ballet Workshop with the City Parks and Rec. The teacher was amazing; it was two hours long, and she had them rapt (parents not allowed in - but we could peek, and watched them dance at the end). Jo took it very seriously; she was already practicing her plies and arabesques at breakfast.She loves to dance. Ballet is pretty gruesome work; so are many sports, etc. It will be interesting to consider how to encourage her to be well-rounded as well as to focus on one thing, if that's what she wants to do...
